Welcome to the Sacramento Community Action Network

Walmart is pleased to introduce plans to build a new store on Watt Avenue, in Sacramento County. The new store, very different than stores built years ago, will include everyday household items with the added convenience of a full-service grocery department that includes fresh and locally-grown fruits and vegetables, a bakery and deli as well as a drive-thru pharmacy. Together, we can create up to 275 new jobs, new sales tax revenue for county services and financial support for local charities.

We hope that you'll take the time to explore this website and its fact sheets to learn about the store's architectural design, energy efficient features - and so much more - including, how you can become a project supporter!
